The Optimist Tiger is a college student studying somewhere in Michigan, secretly watching and spending more time reading about baseball than actually doing anything school related. He’s starting this blog simply as a tool for him to get his thoughts out on the Tigers, as he tends to find very few people who he can talk to, and have an intelligent conversation with, regarding the sport of baseball. Having been an all-state player himself, he respects and appreciates the game more than the average individual and hopes to provide good insight with his posts.

If he misses a preview or series recap, it is not due to being forgetful. This blog is run by a full time college student his last year of higher education. There will be times where he is unable, but never are the Tigers far from his thoughts. To think he would go more than a few hours without something relating to the Tigers popping into his head is an absolutely preposterous suggestion. Just understand that he is only one person and one can only do so much with limited time.

We’ll see where this takes him, but for now, he’s just here to lay out his thoughts on a regular basis! If you have any questions or suggestions for him, he’ll gladly listen, respond, and take into consideration anything you throw his way.
